Please note: These half moon plates are made of cordierite ceramic, which means they are resistant to high temperatures and exceptionally strong. Ensure that the half moon plates are heated along with the Kamado from the very beginning of lighting it. If they are placed in an already hot Kamado, the temperature difference can cause cracks.

Never clean the half moon plates with water. The ceramic can absorb water, which can be harmful to the material.
